John 10:10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Do you ever have those mornings when the alarm goes off and you kind of groan, wishing it wasn’t time to get up yet?  Maybe you’ve got a big meeting or appointment you really don’t want to go to.  Or maybe you’re not prepared for that meeting or appointment.  Maybe you don’t like your job and you really wish you didn’t have to go in to work today.  Or maybe you’re just tired and would like another hour of sleep!

There are also those mornings when you wake up before your alarm.  The sun is shining and you feel well rested.  You realize the potential of the day and are excited to get going.  There is so much to do, you decide to shut your alarm off and get up early!

So – what’s the difference?  Unless you truly are physically tired, it’s all about outlook…it’s a choice.  We can either face the day with dread or we can face the day with excitement.  We can hurry up and get the day over so we can go back to bed or we can carefully maneuver through the day looking for what God might have for us to accomplish.

You have a choice today – are you going to let the thief steal your joy or are you going to live life abundantly?
